A Balloon for Jean-Paul, a concept by Inges Idee

The wire structure is designed in 3D drawings on the computer. To implement the design in a sculpture made from steel tubes we had to find a way to translate the curves into reproducible data for the workshop. Therefore each arc was splitted in several parts of same length with a continuous radius. A template that defined start, end and middle of each segment in height and depth helped to put the pieces together.
